LEARNING FROM BIG BRANDS
Dreams know no boundaries, but how many have the courage to follow their big dreams despite the challenges they face in reality? We’ve had the privilege of meeting many people who truly believe in their dreams, and each time, it’s a unique experience.
What all the dreams of those who come to us have in common is the trust they place in VANDA — as a Retail design expert, our ability to shape ideas and bring them to life.
Our work is a story of matter, hope, and enthusiasm.
Alessandro and Andree, runners by nature, chose to turn their passion for running into a career. The only constant? The name: Up & Down.
When it came to the rest, they told us, “We trust you.” And so, we began shaping their dream.
Building on our extensive experience with Nike, we crafted a store concept that elevates the product, enhances sales, and engages the consumer. Up&Down is the latest of our TOTAL CONCEPT creations — a journey that began with a logo and coordinated image, shaping the store’s interiors, defining spaces, colours, materials, and evolving into a three-dimensional representation of a brand built from the ground up.
As always, everything is custom-designed and crafted by our talented artisans.
The Up&Down logo we designed is not just a visual; it becomes a physical presence in the store, with the “&” symbol transforming into a bold, solid volume that serves as a focal point for product launches.
We carefully selected materials and colours that reflect innovation, speed, and strength. The colour palette includes orange, white, black, and electric blue, while the electro-galvanised sheet metal used for the volumes resting on the floor was treated to create a passivation effect that lends a sense of lightness to the space.
All clothing display elements are made from black-painted tubular metal, and the counter is crafted from a bent electric blue sheet.
We proudly present Up&Down, a specialty store focused on running and trail running gear, which, since day one, has become a go-to destination for running enthusiasts in Piacenza.
