Creation of a Mustang Corner at ‘El Corte Inglés’ in Madrid: The Pilot Concept
We are excited to share with you our recent collaboration with Mustang for the design of an exclusive corner at ‘El Corte Inglés’ department store in Madrid. Our partnership began with the creation of a coordinated image and visual tools for the layout and shop windows. Following the success of this first project, Mustang asked us to design a corner that would best represent their brand, and from there the pilot concept was born, which will be reproduced in other shops.
The Idea behind the Mustang Corner
Our main objective was to create a layout that was both simple and impactful, capable of enhancing Mustang footwear. The choice fell on essential shapes that would highlight the product, accompanied by details in fluorescent colours. The use of fluorescent colours played a crucial role, making the corner immediately visible, even in a stimulating environment such as a department store.
Innovative Materials for a Unique Atmosphere
We chose bold materials, such as perforated sheet metal and faux fur, to add texture and contrast to the design, creating an environment that not only attracts attention, but also reflects the young and dynamic spirit of the brand. The combination of these elements made the Mustang corner not just a point of sale, but a true visual experience that stands out among the other surrounding spaces.
The Pilot Corner: A New Standard for Mustang
This project represents the first step in a new vision for Mustang, which will see the implementation of customised corners in other shops, with a consistent design that can be adapted to different contexts. Our work with Mustang was not limited to space design alone, but included a comprehensive visual strategy to enhance the customer shopping experience, making every corner an expression of the brand.
