HOW TO CHANGE A GARRET INTO AN ATTIC

The project was about the renovation of an attic in the heart of the city through the agreement of the apartment in which the owners lived and the upper floor that had always been inhabited by students and was characterized by very small spaces. The surprising result was a beautiful open space; the windows were enlarged to get more natural light and the original floor was left on sight; only the kitchen was separated by a wooden window.

The connecting element between the two floors was thought as a separate piece, an unexpected conjunction between what was and what had become.
