A BIG PROJECT
The project for Darsena Living was a beautiful and very ambitious project that involved us for many months.
The client, an investment fund, had bought a large building in Milan in Porta Ticinese and the plan was to renovate all the flats (over 70), furnish them and rent them out through an online rental platform.
They approached us for the interior design and the art direction of the entire realisation.
We came up with 3 different styles, depending on the type of flat.
What is visible here is the MODULOR style
Modulòr is a scale of proportions based on human measurements, invented by the famous Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier as a guideline for a more human-scale architectural revolution.
Taking up the concept of architecture already covered by Vitruvius and Leon Battista Alberti, Le Corbusier developed a reference grid for all dimensions of the domestic environment.
