FROM BRANDING TO RETAIL: A COMPLETE STORE CONCEPT FOR REFURBY
With Refurby — the innovative start-up that refurbishes and resells used electronics — we had the rare opportunity to follow the project from naming and branding all the way to the physical retail space. A true branding-to-store journey, where each design decision was rooted in a clear identity and market positioning.
The challenge: translate a digital-native brand into a tangible and scalable retail concept. The solution emerged organically — clean, white glossy furniture inspired by product packaging; a flexible display system built with metal grids; and immersive lighting that plays with the brand’s vibrant colors. A triple-colored line runs through the store like a visual thread, representing Refurby’s care and commitment to quality in every refurbished product.
This project perfectly represents our approach to retail design for franchise rollouts: clear identity, modularity, innovation and storytelling. Refurby has now opened three stores — in Lodi, Crotone and Piacenza — and continues to grow its retail presence with a strong, recognizable and adaptable concept.
